Centacare Broken Bay
Centacare Broken Bay provides care for children and young people aged 10 to 18 years.
There is an adolescent foster care program and a high needs foster care program. Carers receive an allowance which will cover the basic living costs of the child or young person and will vary according to their needs.
The program provides all carers and young people with a high level of personalised, intensive support with a focus on individual and family support needs. Due to the small size of the program, carers as well as children and young people will get to know all case workers within the team.
Supports provided to carers include: financial allowance, regular training, caseworker support, professional clinical support, 24 hour on-call number, and regular respite.
