CatholicCare

CatholicCare, formally know as Centacare, has been serving the whole community for over 70 years.

Our Agency provides a wide range of fostering programs for children and young people, who are unable to live with their own families. We believe that every child has the right to feel safe, to be loved and to reach their full potential.

Our Foster Carers share in this responsibility with CatholicCare to get the best possible outcomes for vulnerable children and young people in our community. Whether children return to their own family from short term foster care, find a new permanent family, including adoption, or move on to live as young adults independently, foster carers have the reward of knowing that they have made a positive and lasting difference in a child’s life.

CatholicCare provides ongoing training and support, practical and financial resources to all foster carers. Open your heart and let us support you to care for children.
