Anglicare Sydney

Anglicare Sydney out-of-home care services is committed to providing safe, secure, nurturing homes for children placed in care. Over many decades, we have been involved in providing foster placements for children in need and quality support for our valued foster carers.

Anglicare provides a range of support to foster families- a caseworker will make regular phone calls and home visits, advocate for services, coordinate contact visits and case management tasks.

Carers receive regular carer payments and other financial support to cover many additional costs of providing care for a child. Anglicare offers regular training, workshops and networking opportunities with other carers, and activities and camps for the children of the foster carers to help them in their role as well.

Foster carers need to be flexible, resilient and enjoy being with children.
